Summary:
Technology allowed me to help my students gain an understanding of the different states of matter in many engaging ways. Students were able to learn and reinforce this new material as the lesson progressed using video images, open-ended questions, movement, and interactive apps. The students enjoyed the hands-on learning opportunity and seemed engaged throughout the entirety of the lesson. Students participated in a team activity using the iPads from the classroom and competed against each other in a friendly game using Kahoot.
