Using Kidblog for Student Classroom Blogging by Michael Medici

Summary:
Technology is the classroom is an opportunity to take learning to an entire new level. There is a way for students to now collaborate in a much more fun and exciting new way. We will be utilizing the tools offered by kidblog.org a safe and simple blog for students. This is an innovative way to engage students and further they're learning. There are many different ways to utilize blogging in the classroom. By incorporating blogging into the classroom it will allow for us to achieve the common core standards for writing. This will allow for collaboration amongst classmates, constant feedback and the best part it is completely private and safe.

About the Education Technologies and Emerging Media Program at Canisius College: 
The Education Technologies and Emerging Media Programs are innovative and fully online. The Master's Degree program is designed to prepare classroom teachers for New York State (NYS) certification as an Educational Technology Specialist (grades PreK-12). A degree option is also available for students not interested in NYS certification.
