Students are learning and reinforcing the short O vowel sound and words in English Language Arts.  For this lesson, I used various technology resources that allowed for students to further develop their understanding of short O.  Through communicating and collaborating with the student’s general education teacher we developed different center activities.  Students explored technology rich resources using the short O vowel with YouTube videos, Starfall, QR code reader, Kahoot!, Reading A-Z, and Google Docs.  Students also reinforced short O through reading of short sentences.  Overall, the lesson allowed for students to identify and reinforce the vowel sound, specific vocabulary, and knowledge in an engaging hands-on, technological way that gave more ownership in their learning process.
