I teach  Spanish to 10th & 11th graders and video production to Seniors at St. Raymond High School for Boys. St. Raymond school  has a few teachers are using blended learning in the classroom and I had the opportunity to interview them and briefly highlight what they were doing in the classroom.  In my video production class students learn all aspects of production and history of cinema.  They learn how to create a film or documentary using their phones and edit on iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. They use Schoology to look manage their project submission during the process of creating their projects.  For Examples, they have deadlines for every production stage; pre-production, production and post-production.  They are able to edit and use different platforms because St. Raymond has a student policy where  students are allow to bring their own device and other students will use the computer lab to edit their final social action documentaries. At the end of this unit, students will upload their final video projects via Google Drive and share a link and submit via Schoology.
